According to the EU Directive, all single-use plastic packaging for juices and beverages will need to be fitted with an attached cap (this change will take effect from 3 July 2024). But we didn’t want to delay this change! That is why now, as one of the first manufacturers, we are introducing attached caps to cardboard packaging.
How does it work? The closing and opening system of the new cap is very simple:
1. Unscrew the cap but do not tear it off.
2. Move the cap away from the packaging.
3. Pour your favourite juice.
4. Close the packaging.
An eco-solution at the expense of the convenience for Tymbark juice lovers? That’s not our style. The new attached caps are not only environmentally friendly but are also for you. Find out what you don’t lose and what you gain with this change:
- A perfect duo – comfort coupled with care for nature.
- A simple and convenient way to open and close.
- Safe drinking directly from the packaging.
- Recycling the cap together with its packaging.
The new cap will be first available on Tymbark’s juices and nectars in 1 l cartons and in subsequent stages on other products. Thank you for being with us and supporting our initiatives.
*The EU Directive 2019/904 on reducing the impact of certain plastic products requires that from 3 July 2024 all disposable containers/containers for beverages are delivered with attached caps to protect the environment.
